okokok so like "oh next muppet movie should be retelling of this:" is always good and i have many ideas for this but consider an impossibly good one- muppet american psycho
where ofc the only token human actor is christian bale playing patrick bateman and it's the movie but with muppets for every character
and kermit is OF COURSE paul allen and yes the classic axe scene does happen but they also recreate this meme /j
the only? difference to the og movie (certain scenes still pending) is that as most muppet movies go- it's a movie about a movie... so ofc christian bale is playing himself as an actor and every five minutes they cut the film to take a creative pause and say "oh wow this Patrick guy sure is a dick and the movie is CLEARLY making fun of him i sure hope the vast majority of misogynists don't misinterpret this and use him as their role model" or sm...
